VR Concrete, Inc. successfully completed the Federal Corrections Institution, in Berlin, NH and were subsequently awarded the 2009 Excellence in Concrete Award by the Northern New England Concrete Promotions Association for the cast in place structure for this project.

In 2010, VR Concrete acquired several large pieces of equipment to meet the needs of our projects and customers.
A few of our major acquisitions were the following:

1. Krupp KMK 4070 80-Ton All Hydraulic All Terrain Crane

2. Allen Bridge Deck Finishing Machine – capable of spanning 96 feet

3. Allen Truss Screed – capable of spanning 75 feet

With the acquisition of a crane, VR Concrete is now capable of erecting structural steel and will be building a bridge in Southern Maine from the footings to the curbs as a complete package. We are now bidding our bridge projects to provide our customers with the convenience of contracting with one company to complete their bridge in its entirety.

Because of the overwhelming success of integrating a crane with heavy lifting capacity into our day-to- day operations, we are currently in the market for a larger crane to add to our fleet.
